This thing is so close to being perfect - really would say it is 4. 5 stars. Here is what is has going for it:1. Solid handle construction - this thing has some heft to it and has smooth motion throughout2. The security (main screws) are longer than most and little heavier duty - this is important to keep someone from just breaking the handle and getting in to your house3. The finish seems top-shelf - it is blemish free and seems built to last against the elements4. The inside door lock is easy to use - no fuss operationA lot of good things going for this! 😊The glaring downside (check out the pics) is that one of the anchoring screws is blocked by the main shaft of the door handle. This made installation much more complicated than it needed to be as it caused some pretty decent headaches for tightening the door handle against the door evenly. It also cause me to strip out the screw a little as I was forced to work at a weird angle and have to have the handle bent down - so trying to tighten the screw while simultaneously putting downward pressure handle - ugh it was not fun, hoping the screw didn't end up so stripped we have probs getting it back out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Now that it is installed and my blunder fairly covered up - am happy with handle and think it will perform well!

This took minutes to install and love the way it looks! You can have the hand facing left or right and it’s made well! Love the modern look and very happy with this setup. I would order again! I hope this was helpful!

NIce sturdy entry way handle. Installed as a replacement for my garage door entry. Heavy handles, nice constructions, feel very sturdy and thick, especially for a high traffic door and a teenage boy to try and test it's mettle. Easy to install, really didn't read the instructions until after but I would recommend putting the inner screw on the door handle first and not the outer one first like the directions recommend. When i did that, the handles were misaligned and it was much easier to do it with the outer one aligned better. Overall definitely recommend, good price for what you get and looks very nice.

Got this door handle to replace an aging handle that would not lock properly. Not only does this item resolve my locking issue, but is so much better than my old handle!Install was easy, all parts included. The only tool needed was a Philips screwdriver. The new handle is better in every way! The item is very heavy duty. Not awkwardly heavy, but you can tell it is not cheaply made. Not only does the heavy duty build mean that it will last a long time - but it also affects the door operation. Let me explain:The previous handle was very light/cheap. So when closing the door, there was not much weight behind the door - meaning it did not always fully close when it would swing shut. With the weight of this handle, the door shuts and secures much better. No effort is needed to "pull in" the door to lock the deadbolt. It honestly makes me feel like I have a new doorThe matte black finish looks very nice as well. The locking mechnanism is easy to use, and the keys work well. Very happy with this product, highly recommend.

This is a truly exquisite locking brass door handle that I installed on my daughter's bedroom door in about 15 minutes. The unit is well made and beautifully finished. The mechanism operates soundlessly, and will work (as promised) by either raising or lowering the handle. It actually takes just five minutes to install with a Phillips screwdriver, but it took me 10+ minutes to remove the 20-year-old door knob that was already on the door! Easy to install! Beautiful results!
