The brand Mega makes great door handle/knobs. We have replace our entire (almost) house with Mega knobs. This one is for down stair bath. The finish (satin gold) and quality is very high end.

This is very nice quality. They look nice and theyâ€:tm:re easy to install as long as youâ€:tm:re used to installing these. I find that itâ€:tm:s a good value for the money and itâ€:tm:s definitely sturdy. The one thing I will say about most of the Matte black hardware (and that is not just limited to this brand), is that they often collect a lot of dust, so it is more noticeable than Other materials.

This is a really sturdy, heavy duty door handle. This is made for an interior door that doesn't need to be locked. We are using it in a front hall closet. The matte black finish and square design is very attractive. I used to think of these handles as purely for handicap accessibility, but we have put them all over the house because we think they're stylish and so much easier for everyone (including our dog!) to open. Highly recommended.

When we moved into our new home we started a plan to replace all of the thirty year old hardware. We chose the Mega Handles satin brass finish for the main floor. We were going to use the same on the second floor comprised of bedrooms and bathrooms and finally chose the matte black finish on our lower level with a bed room, home office, rec room, storage, etc. we started mostly with the round handles but after the first batch or two we decided to live with them for a couple of months until I we pressed to finish. One thing that kind of became an obvious concern was that the round handles were a challenge for my wife due to loss of strength in her right hand from elbow surgery several years ago. We liked the Mega Handles product but knew we had to swap out the round for the lever style. Functionally the lever style operates with a bit more ease even though the designer in my spouse loved the round handles the best, you ultimately have to please the client! Highly recommended

The installation was fairly easy. Only needed a drill with Phillips head. There are two additional steps required when taking off the backing to put the two sides together before putting the other side of the knob and the handle itself. It is not a big deal but there are two mini screws pieces that hold the plate and knob. You need to take those off so the silver inside plate is freestanding to attach. Then once the long screws are in you put the plate back on then the handle. I love the beefyness of the handle, has good weight to it. Great value for the cost. The black chunkyness makes the handle look super modern. Heavy and durable.
