    The quality of this deadbolt

Posted by Dave D. on 10th Jan 2024

The quality of this deadbolt is above the current price point. It's a great value at the moment. It's not solid brass, but it is a thinner cast brass piece with a brushed finish. The cylinder and bolt are quite heavy and meet current standards. They are interchangeable with our 30-year-old lockset. Installation was a breeze, just be sure everything is in perfect alignment otherwise the slightest off-center pressure will make it difficult to turn the key. Overall, a nice value lockset.

This door handle has a nice solid feel to it, not cheap or flimsy at all. Already thinking about ordering more for the rest of the house.
