This knob looks good and feels solid, but it turns out we needed a knob that wasn't a dummy knob so did not install it.

The MegaHandles brand is really quality and I've been pleased with the installation of these handles in my home. These handles are soft to the touch and very heavy/ high quality. They have really elevated my doors from old dated brass handles to these sleek modern ones. My husband can install these in 10-15 minutes with minimal mess, so they're pretty easy to work with too. I'd highly recommend them.

I've taken off all of the previously-installed old doorknobs in the house, so that we can have uniformity and modernity throughout, and these were no exception - I placed these on one of the closets in one of our offices (as they had knobs before), and they look SO GOOD! Like I always say, when your handles and hinges match and coordinate, it completely elevates the design, and it's so much less expensive than re-doing everything in the room and the house.

I love Megas door handles- they are brilliant and so well made. I love the subtle beauty of this round knob and the little bit "beefed up" rectangular base that goes up against the door. I was surprised how much I like that nice touch. I like how I am able to mix and match knobs and levers because the finishes of the knobs are so seamless. Very simple to install, made extremely well and made to last. Beautiful addition to brand new updated doors, but also a great way to level up contractor-grade doors and add a personal touch to your home.

These look like the black satin that matches the schlegg locks. They work well. All the one of them was glued together. It took some work to get it apart. It mustâ€:tm:ve been made on a Friday. Whoever put it together was mad.

I liked these handles so much i have outfitted my entire basement with them. Easy to install and are made with amazing quality.

These use cover plates over the screw mounts, which use set screws for the final install (and on knob sets as well). They do supply an allen wrench and - smartly - a bunch of spare set screws, however. While they are attractive looking, I find this kind of construction overly complex - other (admittedly more expensive) brands I've used have less complex assemblies. The overall fit, finish, and instructions, and packaging are excellent - no complaints there. The one 'beef' I have is that the striker plate (the part in the door) has rounded corners, rather than more normal rectangular corners - which adds a LOT of complexity when it comes to chiseling out the recess for it. A simple rectangular latch would have been SO much simpler to install (in my doors). Finally, once installed - and this MAY be due to my particular door install - the action seems somewhat high in friction; the knob does not operate with low effort or with smoothness (low effort is desireable for a round knob, you'd think!) The other (more) premium latches/knobs I've used operate in a much more 'buttery' manner. And that may loosen up with use. I have another, differnt style, latch set from the same manujfacturer to install yet, I'll update this comment when I've completed that (review). Oh, and this is a strictly a passage latch - no 'hidden' lock settings. Otherwise, I'm pretty impressed, esp for the cost.
