Quality Workmanship

Hardware is a beautifully complex world. A lot of hard work and skill go into creating a simple door knob or handle. The basic elements of a door handle include a rosette, spindle, shank and lever or knob. The rosette is the plate that is fashioned for attachment to the surface of a door and the lever, or knob, is the part that is grasped by the hand. The handle is connected to the spindle, which is a metal shaft that turns the latch of the lock and the shank links everything together.

When producing door hardware, many concepts must be considered. Aside for appearance, the shape, size and the tactile features of each element must be carefully contemplated. Typical design features include: smooth edges; an easily grasped shape that can turn effortlessly; a textured finish or non-slip coating for easy latching; and a long shaft that can comfortably fit a hand behind the knob. Our production team strives to construct well-built and long-lasting pieces to be available for our valued customers.

Effective Craftsmanship

Creating new designs involves a fascinating process. First, an idea is researched, processed and sketched. Exact dimensions, formulas and techniques are evaluated. Then, a two-dimensional model is computer generated using design software. Next, a three-dimensional prototype is fabricated and a mold created of the desired shape, and manufacturing begins.
