these are supper cool blk metal, heavy duty door stoppers with a thick rubber gasket around the top to stop doors in a cool effective way! This arrived super fast, we have stainless steel ones that are already rusting on the tops (not from this company) so I was very excited to see these in multiple sizes, shapes & in the black (matte) finish. They are so stylish looking, as well as functional for husbands who don't want doors scratches from the over zealous kids! I plan on purchasing more of the blk square shaped short ones, I've never seen square shaped style. there was one little area that had a tiny chip, I still gave 5 stars b/c its got great weight, style & should be fine to replace all my SS door stoppers. . . . If it becomes an issue months later I'll report back. I also put details on the photos, some of them look like they have larger chips but it's not chipped, it's just a light reflection in photos (also noted)Awesome quality, weight, love the all black, as I am in FL near salty air. . . . the stainless steel is just too much to keep up with as far as rust goes. . . . the ones I am replacing are only 4 yrs old, you will see rust in photos. . . I'm excited to not have to worry about rust anymore & very excited to purchase more of the new square style. My last photo is a pic by the front door which our blk powder coated metal & glass doors, I will be installing these outside to blend nicely on our front step (my hubby will be handling the installs) This order comes w/box & wrapped stopper, w/installation directions, & all heavy-duty hardware needed. . . . . ðŸ‘Â. Hope this helps everyone searching for items "you didn't think you need. . . . . but you definitely do". . . . if you want to protect expensive doors from kids, adult gatherings, parties, even just the wind blowing too hard, etc. . . . here is your solution & you don't need to go with those silly cheap 1977 spring stoppers that don't get the job done - these are way cooler anyway in my opinion & definitely get the job done! This is a solid heavy door stopper. It is made of non-magnetic metal, I'm guessing brass or stainless. The cap has an unfinished part that looks like stainless. It seems like stainless buts dents easily so I don't know exactly what it is other than it's not magnetic, so I'm hoping it lasts outside where I installed it in a fairly covered area for a courtyard entry door. I live in a salty air environment so I'm hoping it's made of something like brass or stainless. The finish looks nice but seems easily marred. For the $23 price, I find it a tad pricey but still a reasonable value, especially for what it is. I did not use the provided steel anchor and instead went with a lead sleeve I had. I used the screw provided, which looks like it is stainless but it is not work-hardened.
