Mega Handles | Door Stops | Cylinder Door Stopper

I own a a few short term rental properties and my guests can sometimes be a little hard on things. We put a barn door up in place of a traditional door and I added this door stop on the floor to work along with the stop that came with the slide rail above. It provides me assurance the door will stop before striking electrical cords that are an inch or two past where I want the door to stop. The doorstop was very easy to install and looks very good. I ordered two. One in this color and another one in silver for a different door elsewhere. I'm very pleased with how they work. They're perfect for barn doors or regular doors.

This is a simple straight forward solution to the problem of doors damaging walls. Adds a nice touch to any decor, this installs in seconds and works very well. The top of the stop unscrews to reveal a chamber with heavy duty screw. Mark your location, drill and you have a door stop. The body is heavy with a satin or spun brass finish. A heavy rubber ring acts as a bumper to prevent doors from dining walls. Looks really nice.

I like the design of this door stop. It looks modern and classy. I have 22 doors in my home, so I do not know that I could afford to use this for every door. In my home being built, I am concentrating of making the daytime living area the nicest and may use these there. I have one concern in that this is screwed into the floor - it may pose a tripping hazard. If my door will be against a wall, I will use these, as in the photo. But if my door opened overhangs the wall, I fear the door stop will cause injury if someone isn’t expecting this mounted to the floor. I note in the Amazon listing it has a place where it says wall mount. I do not see how this could work on a wall with how the rubber ring to protect the door from injury requires that this be mounted to the floor.

This is exactly what I needed. I was a bit confused at first due to the lack of instructions, but the top unscrews to allow the screw to hold the bumper down. It's nice and solidly mounted on the floor of my front door now. No more wind wacking the door against the wall.

This Floor Door Stopper is the type that stops your door from permanently damaging your wall if the door is swung open too hard or too fast. It comes with a plastic floor anchor and a screw to attach it to the floor before your door damages your wall. The top of the stopper unscrews so you can fasten it with the screw through the floor anchor. Unfortunately, there are no instructions included and I only realized the top screws off while looking at Amazon review pictures where one woman revealed the secret. It is an ingenious design but many have complained that they thought the Floor Door Stopper was much bigger. I see where people may have mistakenly thought this Floor Door Stopper would be bigger than this is. Most door stoppers are heavy huge (mega) things that prop doors open rather than keeping them from damaging walls. I have a few of those behemoth door floor stoppers and was almost fooled myself. Anyway, this Floor Door Stopper does what it's intended to do, if you carefully measure and install it correctly which I hope I described succinctly enough above, as there are no instructions included.

I really like the door stop. I've used several different types over the years. Ones that hang on the hinge pen, others that screw into a baseboard and others that just attached to the wall to be banged against. But this little guy is different. Engineered so that you drive a screw down through its center. Direct it into the floor and it holds its position keeping the door from going any further. It's a nice looking machined piece of metal. It's a bit pricey but it's a nice finishing piece. I will absolutely buy another.

Really cool alternative to the classic ugly door stoppers. Very easy install, the matte black color matched perfectly with our other matte black handles and hinges, and install is super simple. Designed with the client in mind, these style stoppers were a long time coming.

This is a high quality product. The doorstop is solid and heavy. The finish is beautiful (gold) and the rubber bumper is high quality. I ordered the 1. 5†and it sits a bit short to be used as intended…Iâ€:tm:m considering adding some washers to raise it a bit more so I can use it on my intended door. The 2†one will accommodate more applications especially if your home or office are older builds. Installation is easy as the top of the door stop unscrews allowing you to drive the screw through the bottom piece and into your flooring. A bit pricy but worth every cent.
