No wear after months

I've been a carpenter for 45 years and this is the first one of these I've come across. It has a great design that allows you to screw this unit down to the floor through the center of the stop. The top unscrews and you can put the screw in through the middle and then screw the top back on. I have an extremely heavy Mahogany door which is stopped perfectly by this door stop. I'd recommend this stop to any builder looking for a door stop that looks very classy.

I live in a house with a carpeted bathroom (go figure) and the old door stop broke. The door was too high for this stopper when we sank it into the carpet. We cut a piece of dowel (and drilled a center hole and painted it) for this stopper to sit on and it works well, now. It's nice quality rubber.

I have a space where an exterior door opens inward and has potential to hit a glass hanging barn door behind it. The only option is to put the door stop on the floor so they do not hit each other and damage my barn door. This is a very nice, heavy, well made door stop that I am comfortable stopping my heavy exterior door.

This is one good looking doorstop. I just started building a new half bath in my basement. This is probably going to be a little bit of overkill to use this in the basement, but what the heck. Installation will be pretty simple. I just have to drill a small hole in the concrete and screw it in using the screw and anchor supplied. It's a pretty substantial size screw so it should hold pretty well. All-in-all, a very good looking door stop and I can definitely recommend it.
